If the nearest auto parts are noticing boost pressure spikes over 20psi (upto 25psi is not uncommon), fit a boost limiting device such as a dawes valve. These can be set so that the turbo can't boost over say 18psi...... This is a bandaid not a cure, as their will be other issues causing the overboosting.
If your lights flash rapidly and not a full brightness, you may need a new flasher in the tow vehicle. Consult with a local auto parts store near me to replace the existing flasher with a HD model.
Take out a notebook now and make a list of all the jobs you've had over the sixty years or more you have spent on this planet. Next, match up every type of work you've done with the skills and training you needed to perform that necessary work. Which job did you like the best and why?
I am a farm girl. Born and raised on a poultry farm. I have 200 pet roosters. I love roosters. Of course, I love custom cars as well. I want my car to somehow reflect my love for roosters. I really want this car to crow... literally. I was at the local auto parts near me this week and I spotted just the thing: an electronic horn. Plays some 45 different sounds and a hundred or so songs. But you want to know what I liked about it? It crows. Sounds like a real live rooster crowing at dawn. Well that is just the thing for me. So now my car well shimmer like a peacock and crow like a rooster. I'm happy.
If you're going to wash your own car, be sure to use a quality car wash shampoo product. Trust me, spending a buck or two extra on a good product is money well spent. You can't go wrong with Meguiar's Gold Class Car Wash and Conditioner or Mothers California Gold Car Wash. They are both easy to find at your local auto store near me and they won't remove your wax protection. Plus, these wash shampoos offer conditioners designed to prevent scratching and maintain the shine.
The jack that came with your car is almost certainly a type of jack called a screw jack. And there you are straining to work the jack under the car and trying to manipulate the long flimsy crank rod that came with it in an effort to raise the car. And what if you happen to have a flat on a steep incline? That jack will let your car fall and maybe it will be when you have your hand or arm in an unfortunate location? Suppose you are in mud or soft soil trying to change a tire? Get this floor jack. It is only about 24 inches long, it is flat, stable and will raise your car in about 15 seconds with a minimum of effort. Well worth the investment.
Another thing that you should focus on would be your tires. Check if the tire tread depth is within acceptable range. For most states, they do ask for a minimum legal tread depth of 2/32 of an inch. To check this, you can place a penny in the most shallow treat groove with the head down. If the top of the head of the coin is visible, then the tires should already be replaced. Also, make sure that the tires of your vehicle are also just right. Make sure that they are not too inflated or are under inflated. It would do you no good if they are.
Before you figure out what size truck tire chains you need, you have to decide what style you will need. You can buy snow chain cables, which are easier to install, or you can purchase metal snow chains. Cobra cables are typically perfect for cars, small trucks and SUV's. Bigger autos, like commercial trucks can also use cables, but they are a heavier grade than those offered for light autos. If you aren't sure which tire chains to purchase for your truck, and you are traveling regularly maintained roads, I would suggest using cable chains.
