Your car is the most precious thing for you, for you travel in your car and traveling is itself a very important activity. Therefore, it is very important that you car is in perfect condition. When a person purchases a car, he does not only need to spend at the time of its purchase, but a car needs to be maintained afterwards and one has to keep on spending on its maintenance and repair. And when it comes to maintenance of a car, then one certainly thinks about the condition of its parts.
Not to be outdone, Edward Brown, Jr. opened the first fly-in drive-in theater in 1948 in Asbury Park, NJ. There was "parking" for 25 airplanes in back of 500 cars and the pilots and planes were taxied back and forth from their landing sites to the back row of the theater. Brown's Drive-In and Fly-In was followed by The Roxy Fly-In and Drive-In in St. Ansgar, Iowa, another couple of unnamed fly-in theaters in Belmar, NJ and Spearman, TX and The Air-Sho Fly-In in Mobile.
Besides groceries, Wal-Mart offers just about everything you need, from bath towels to DVDs to motor oil, it's all easily found at Wal-Mart. You can make a huge list and instead of going to the auto store near me, grocery store, video store, and pharmacy, you can get everything you need in one store. It doesn't get any easier. Also each department offers several varieties of what you need. For example, Wal-Mart carries at least 100 different DVDs. If you need a prepaid cell phone you'll have at least 3 different carriers to choose from and several different phones from each carrier. You don't have to settle when it comes to Wal-Mart. If you stop by your local dollar store, you'll usually be stuck with one choice of whatever you're buying.
Air conditioning also uses up fuel economy from a low of ten percent to a high of twenty percent. It also uses up your battery and drains it. Use the wind during sunny days. It would be more fun to drive with the wind in your hair. Also, excess weight on your vehicle tends to gobble up your fuel. Reduce the amount of cargo or luggage that you have.
I am a farm girl. Born and raised on a poultry farm. I have 200 pet roosters. I love roosters. Of course, I love custom cars as well. I want my car to somehow reflect my love for roosters. I really want this car to crow... literally. I was at the local auto parts near me this week and I spotted just the thing: an electronic horn. Plays some 45 different sounds and a hundred or so songs. But you want to know what I liked about it? It crows. Sounds like a real live rooster crowing at dawn. Well that is just the thing for me. So now my car well shimmer like a peacock and crow like a rooster. I'm happy.
Now, you should be aware of this fact however. That fuse blew for a reason. It sacrificed itself so the wiring or an electronic component doesn't go up in smoke. So the fuse is an important safety device.
There is hardly a need to entrust this simple job to a professional mechanic. You can save (a lot, in some cases) of money by doing this job on your own. Stop by your local auto parts store near me, pick up the blades appropriate for your vehicle, and put them on. There are numerous instructional videos online to show you how to do it, if the instructions that come with the blades aren't sufficient. You may even be able to talk the workers at the parts store into doing it for you for free!
Check your engine's belts and hoses: Cold weather is an extreme operating condition that may bring wearable parts to impending failure. Even if you don't feel you need a tune-up or check-up, at least open the hood and look for anything that appears worn, cracked, corroded or out of place. One important thing to check for is worn or cracked belts. These may include timing belts, counter-balance belts (such as those found in Eclipse or Talon engines), and "serpentine" belts. Likewise, look for any rubber or plastic hoses that may need replacement. Whether appearing worn or not, check with your car owner's manual or a mechanic to see whether anything is due for periodic replacement. The key word here is "replacement", as mending is strictly not recommended - a temporary fix at best.
